“I am very pleased to be at the helm of what are exciting and much needed changes for the NHS. My experience as a GP and my knowledge of local people and their health needs, gained from seeing patients on a day-to-day basis, is invaluable in helping me drive forward improvements across Tameside and Glossop. With a combined annual commissioning budget of £435 million, I am working with my CCG, clinical, local authority and social care colleagues to build effective relationships with local people and organisations. It is only by working together that we can improve healthy life-expectancy and ensure a successful future for the people of Tameside and Glossop”.
