What is accessibility and why does it matter?

To be accessible Tameside and Glossop Care together understand the website must be as easy to use and understand for as many visitors as possible. We are committed to maintaining and improving the accessibility of our site.

Increase Text size

This may be useful for you if you have low vision and need larger font sizes. These can be activated using the Text size links right at the top of the page.
Alternatively, you can use the 'Ctrl' and '+' keys to increase the overall size.

Stay healthy

There are lots of things that you can do to stay healthy and feel great...

Did you know that 70% of all ill health in Tameside and Glossop is caused by just 4 lifestyle choices? Too many of us exercise too little, consume too much alcohol, smoke cigarettes and have poor diet and nutrition.

Small changes can make a big difference.

Why not take 5 minutes now to see how you are doing and how you could do more?

You could even get advice and guidance around a specific topic by visiting the NHS Live Well website or Change 4 Life.
