What is accessibility and why does it matter?

To be accessible Tameside and Glossop Care together understand the website must be as easy to use and understand for as many visitors as possible. We are committed to maintaining and improving the accessibility of our site.

Engagement Timeline

Public engagement is crucial to the development of the Care Together programme. It is only by discussing our plans and listening to the needs of local people that we can create the health and social services that are truly needed across Tameside and Glossop.

Below is a list of the engagement events we have undertaken so far. If you have not had chance to give us your views yet please check our events page for upcoming dates.

 

2014

  • We delivered three engagement events attended by around 140 people
  • Regular attendance at NHS Tameside and Glossop CCG Public and Patient Impact Committee
  • Tameside and Glossop CCG's Annual General Meeting included a discussion followed by a Q&A about Care Together

2015

  • We delivered two engagement events (one in Tameside, one in Glossop) and 13 focus groups attended by 218 people
  • Regular attendance at NHS Tameside and Glossop CCG Public and Patient Impact Committee
  • Tameside and Glossop CCG's Annual General Meeting included a discussion followed by a Q&A about Care Together

2016

  • 37 focus groups involving around 450 people
  • Healthwatch Big Conversation (Care Together themed)
  • Faith Sector Engagement Event
  • Voluntary, Commuity and Faith Sector Engagement Event
  • Direct engagement with Neighbourhood Patient Groups
  • Regular attendance at NHS Tameside and Glossop CCG Public and Patient Imapct Commitee
  • Website Launch Event and Media Launch
  • Five Integrated Neighbourhood Design sessions
  • Self-Care Design Workshop
  • Social Prescribing Design Workshop
